Kaseya Connect 2011 Highlights

This week was Kaseya Connect 2011 – our 5th Annual User Conference.  With more customers, more product content, and more sponsors than ever before, this was a fantastic week!  Let’s go over some highlights:

Product News

We announced the acquisition of Intellipool AB.  The acquisition of Intellipool brings together our deep IT automation heritage with a product and feature set that our customers have asked us for.  The Intellipool product will become the backbone of our new Enterprise Monitoring module.

We lifted the veil on some amazing products and went deep into current modules including:

  • Kaseya Directory Services – With fully automated AD integration that will allow for automatic linking of users and computers inside the VSA and service desk, Directory Services will allow for AD password and account management from inside Kaseya.  Watch here.
  • Kaseya Policy Management – While the word “policy” tends to put people to sleep, Kaseya Policy Management is a very exciting module that will revolutionize the way machine groups can be managed inside Kaseya.  Click here to watch the session.

Speakers

Part of Kaseya Connect has always been about inspiring and empowering our customers.  This year we had great keynotes from major league pitcher Jim Abbott and business growth expert Steven S. Little.  With two tracks for the breakout sessions there was always something to learn, whether it was from a business track session or a technical session.  Keep watching http://www.kaseyaconnect.com for videos and presentations.

Amazing Sponsors

This year we moved the partner pavilion and filled it with amazing companies.   With stalwart MSP vendors, hardware suppliers, and leading software vendors all in this new larger location, there was rarely a moment when our customers weren’t interacting with the sponsors to learn about new products and services and see some of them in action right there in the partner pavilion. Click here to see a list of sponsors.

Truly Global

This conference has now become truly global with more and more attendees from overseas.  Countries represented this year included South Africa, Italy, Sweden, France, the Netherlands, Ireland, the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, China, Mexico, Canada, and the United States.

We are honored to have such amazing customers to make this event so great!  Thank you for coming and if you weren’t able to join us this year, check out http://www.kaseyaconnect.com for more videos and presentations as we continue to upload more and more content.

This is just a quick summary, what was your favorite part?

Are there higher quality videos of the sessions available? The network diagrams (certainly in the DS presentation) are mostly illegible.

We are working on getting those posted, as well as the presentations themselves. We’ll let you know when they are ready for viewing.

Likewise, looking forward to the HQ video, so I can show the rest of our team.

Thanks Brendan and the rest of the Kaseyans. As a first time attendee, I was blown away by just how well run this conference was. My only “lowlight” was being stuck in bed most of the Monday sessions with a stomach bug. Thank goodness for hotel wifi and ustream!

I certainly hope to make the long flight from New Zealand again next year (Boss’ credit card willing) for a repeat.

    Same here guys.

I’m from Emerging I.T. in Australia and there is additional information I need so that I can get this information out to the business.

I spent a lot of time in the Labs to get the benefit of your devs and engineers so I would really appreciate the full content including the powerpoint files used, as before I spent the time in the labs I did ask the presenters who confirmed it would be available the week after the conference…

Setting that aside, it was great to visit you all again and I enjoyed the event very much!

Having recently released the Kaspersky Anti-Virus solution with Kaseya, Kaspersky Lab was very interested in getting solid feedback from Kaseya’s most significant partners. Kaspersky Lab’s participation in KaseyaConnect was the perfect venue to have direct one on one discussions with partners. The feedback we received was invaluable in helping us prioritize our development and marketing initiatives to assure the success of the Kaspersky offering to Kaseya customers. The opportunity to directly engage Kaseya’s executive team, and discuss future strategic initiatives was also invaluable. We’ll definitely be participating in KaseyaConnect in the future.

Thanks Brett, welcome to the family. Having you and Kaspersky there was fantastic for our customers.
