Kaseya MSPs Rank Highest Worldwide for 2013

Way to go Kaseya MSPs! You’ve done it AGAIN!

It’s a new year, already filled with exciting changes and significant MSP opportunities. But for some of you, a few things remain the same, and selfishly, we are happy about that. The new MSPmentor Top 100 rankings for 2013 are out. In the table below, see how many MSPs running Kaseya were represented on the list:

Kaseya has always been at the front of the pack in terms of solutions that successful MSPs use to run their businesses. 2013 is no exception. Once again, we are honored and humbled by the fact that so many of the Kaseya MSPs continue to dominate the MSP Mentor 100 list for 2013.  Additionally, just over 51% of all 485 survey respondents use Kaseya.   Good for you! Congratulations from all of us.

Like proud parents, we are thrilled that our customers are seeing significant and sustainable growth in their own businesses. We are more excited that so many of you show up year after year on this list and with so many Kaseya customers ranked near the top, it’s a validation that MSPs CAN grow and DO grow with Kaseya. We applaud your hard work and we sincerely appreciate your partnership with us, both of which give us the information we need to continue to build – and support – the Kaseya Solution that powers your business. We remain committed to these areas because we know you count on us to do so.

No big surprise right? Not at all, and with so many Kaseya MSPs ranked on the list, it serves to highlight how our innovative customers are finding more and more IT task management work to be  automated and how more work is being done centrally and remotely. The industry pundits still take notice, too. These accolades reinforce our belief that product innovation still matters and that robust and efficient vendor support is still important.

As our annual user conference approaches – Kaseya Connect is April 29th – we can’t wait to see you all in Las Vegas to congratulate you in person. And we are ready to engage with you so and gather your feedback, organize it into valuable solution requirements, prioritize it for your use on our product road map, so that we can further our commitment to building the right solution that works well for so many of you.

Kaseya 6.3 is HERE!

This new year has come out of the blocks fast and it couldn’t be more exciting.  We are thrilled to announce the general availability of Kaseya 6.3!  This release is packed full of new features and refinements that we are very excited to see already being put to use by customers worldwide.

Some notable highlights include a total revamp of InfoCenter, a new integrated Discovery, new notification bar, new search functionality, credential management, a new Procedure editor,  and even endpoint icon badges that will help teams keep themselves better informed of the ever-present exceptions to rules.  These features are on top of expanded support for Windows 8, Server 2012, iOS6, and OSX Mountain Lion.

All of the work has been focused around helping you better discover, manage, automate, and validate your systems management workflow.  Despite how “salesy” that last sentence may sound, it is true.  We are working hard around those 4 areas which are critical to sound ITSM regardless of your situation, be it MSP or enterprise.

Is your Kaseya server down because of Sandy?

With the massive amounts of destruction wrought by Sandy over the last 2 days, even some of the best data centers, server rooms and hosting environments have had some outages. If you are a Kaseya customer and have lost your Kaseya server we’d like to help if we can.

We can spin up a temporary Kaseya instance in our SaaS environment until you get your production server online. We have already done this for a few customers today.

Kaseya partners with StorageCraftKaseya and StorageCraft have quite a few shared customers already and today’s announcement is the natural progression of our commitment to delivering world class it systems management to everybody.  With business continuity being a critical component of any sound systems management strategy, this partnership will enable Kaseya customers to leverage the world-class StorageCraft ShadowProtect product inside the integrated Kaseya framework.

What is particularly exciting is that the module being built will allow you to use any existing installation of Shadow Protect. So if you already own ShadowProtect, you just need the Kaseya module to manage it centrally.  This partnership reaffirms our commitment to delivering a world class and truly comprehensive systems management platform to our industry leading customers.

Kaseya Desktop Policy Management brings Intel vPro to your fingertips! Or you could call another truck roll for a BSOD

world class remote systems managementSo if you’re like me, you remember when Intel came out with vPro and while it looked good on paper it wasn’t as usable at first as we all hoped.  Then came Kaseya Desktop Policy Managementand the vPro dreams started coming true.  Well now with KDPM 3.5 even more of the dream is real.

With our latest update to KDPM you’ll enjoy some amazing out of band functionality including:
  • Boot to Bios – Reboot the machine into BIOS mode and remotely edit the BIOS
  • Boot from ISO – Reboot the machine and connect to an ISO image to boot the machine from
  • Connect to KVM – Even on an unresponsive machine, start a remote console session to a machine even if the OS has hung

We are Building Bridges to Deliver Better Support

We are bridging the gap between Customer Support and Development by transitioning highly specialized support staff into a Tier 3 role.  These individuals work closely with the development team, in their area of expertise, to acquire deeper skills that allow them to assist their support colleagues with both training and issue resolution.  Additionally, this work with development enhances their ability to correctly prioritize issues and ensure timely resolution.

This role also assists in driving improvements in our products.  The team gathers and collates feedback from the field and pushes it into the development cycle in order to continually improve the product, based on what we hear from the customers.

UPDATE: Kaseya Network Monitor 4.1 coming to Kaseya MSP customers for free…

Kaseya Network Monitor - world class it systems managementToday we announced that Kaseya Network Monitor 4.1 will be given to our amazing base of MSP customers this quarter.  KNM 4.1 represents the first integrated version of KNM since our acquisition of Intellipool last spring and a major enhancement to the monitoring capabilities of our service provider customers.  We’re so proud of our customers and want to empower them to do even more which is why we are giving them KNM 4.1 for up to as many devices as they have on their core Kaseya license.
