Instant Access Taps Kaseya VSA, MSP to Perfect Mobile Workforce Management

The relationship between an IT organization and its Managed Service Provider (MSP) is critical to efficient IT. Instant Access, an Australian supplier of aluminium scaffolding and elevated working platforms, works closely with MSP CustomTec on network support. The solution to many of Instant Access’ problems is Kaseya VSA, remote monitoring and management (RMM) that keeps end points running properly and securely.

This task is all the more difficult because Instant Access has 100 professionals that operate in New Zealand and Australia. Managing all these end points is tricky as they are spread across 10 offices. Not only do these end user end points need to kept running, they also need to support constant connectivity. For Martin Page, P2 director., the old RMM was running out of gas. “It wasn’t scaling and we couldn’t really do all the advanced things with it that we needed, such as patching. Also, the support from the vendor was poor,” he said. Continue Reading…

IT Service Provider Axians Taps Kaseya Traverse to Manage Client Networks

axian

IT service providers have a lot on their plates. Axians, based in the Netherlands, is a case in point. This company manages client IT infrastructure, everything from hardware, software – both custom and off the shelf – as well as cloud services and network solutions.

Networks these days are incredibly complex and the lifeblood of modern organizations. That’s a rather obvious point. Just as apparent is that service providers need solutions that can handle this complexity, and manage, troubleshoot and fix on-premises networks, cloud networks and hybrid network infrastructure.

Many IT service providers start with the management of servers and end points, and are now moving clients to cloud applications. With that it makes sense for providers to take care of all aspects of the network, including those pieces that reach out to the cloud and back.

With Kaseya Traverse, now in use at Axians, service providers can create a holistic, aggregate view of these cloud services the way they have a single pane view of on-premises infrastructure. Continue Reading…

How You Can Become a Healthcare MSP Master

Many industries have compliance rules, but few are as strict as the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA).

While HIPAA is a set of U.S. regulations, many countries have similar rules.

When it comes to these complex rules, healthcare companies can’t always go it alone. It helps to have a trusted partner who is expert in all things HIPAA, such as an MSP with a vertical health care focus.

The good news for MSPs is that your HIPAA expertise lets you sell services at a premium – compliance is just that important.
